As the leader of our EU/UK Regional Risk Prevention team, your goal is to grow and lead a high performing organisation that drives impact for the societies in which we operate, within EMEA and across T&S globally. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team of market program managers focused on supporting T&S's highest priority initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in people management (managing managers and large organisations), business management and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on building strong organizations, execution and streamlining cross-functional communication.

You will act as a thought leader, a consensus creator, and a strategic thought partner for the TikTok Trust & Safety team and the broader stakeholders in the region. You will use your exemplary strategic, organizational and interpersonal skills to prioritize and manage multiple regional safety programs in a manner that is both efficient and aligned with the organizational strategy. You will also help maintain clear communications across functional teams including Policy, Product, Risk & Response Operations, Data, Public Policy, Comms, and Legal.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the EU/UK Regional Risk Prevention function, a talented team of Regional Program managers. Define our approach for the region.
- You will actively promote and support inclusion, creating a positive team culture, by ensuring individuals are supported to participate and develop within their role and work community
- You'll manage the performance and goals of the team, driving the local market roadmaps and taking responsibility for the overall market performance, including monitoring and improving key metrics critical to the overall success of the business
- You'll lead your team in proactively planning high risk event scenarios and be a strong leader on crisis management
- You'll provide foresight into various vulnerabilities in scenarios such as video, comments, follow/like, accounts, etc. through qualitative and quantitative approaches, and deliver insights into problematic market trends and regulatory isues
- Address emerging market risks in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (content policy, product management, data analytics, operations, engineering, algorithms and other critical functions outside T&S such as government relations/legal/comms) to identify, assess and resolve related issues across our policies, programs, and systems.
- You will identify and explore ways to continuously improve and provide timely feedback to cross-departmental stakeholders and be excellent at stakeholder management and communication
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- You will have a deep understanding and experience of leading EU and UK markets, including understanding of top risks, cultural nuances, regulatory landscape and high risk events
- Broad experience across Trust and Safety, or a related area such as Fraud, Integrity, management of social networking, or within a Trust and Safety vertical, such as minor safety, hate speech, illegal activities and regulated goods, etc.
- 3 years experience managing managers and leading a high performing regional organisations, including objective setting and performance reviews.
- Extensive background of managing and coordinating large scale projects or products, working closely with engineering and design teams together with other partner teams to guarantee effective execution of product plans
- You will be an analytical thinker, with a strong ability to interpret data, key metrics and devise improvement strategies
- Excellent communication and program management skills.
