Responsibilities:
The Public Policy Project Analyst sits with the EU Public Policy Subject Expert (EU SET) team and provides cross-cutting policy advice on key policy topics.

- Work with public policy colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders to build and maintain public policy positions.
- Identify needs for public policy positions, and work cross-functionally to drive positions forward.
- Create and own a process for the identification, development, and review of public policy positions.
- Build a strong internal network of cross-functional colleagues to facilitate the public policy development process.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Interest in Internet public policy issues, including privacy, security, child safety, harmful content, and user wellbeing.
- Excellent organisational skills; ability to manage competing priorities
- General understanding of U.K. and EEA government policy-making and legislative processes.
- 3-5 years of experience working on public policy positions and/or external narratives for a technology company, government, NGO, trade association, or political party.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to manage a diverse brief and to spot and solve challenges at pace.
- Superb written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent collaborator and project manager.
