About the Team
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (advertising) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving effective ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time. The global Monetization Integrity team ensures TikTok users have a safe experience while viewing advertisements. They work closely with advertisers to create ad policies, manage content review processes, and more. The team is critical in assuring a joyful and creative ads experience for the community. As a Public Opinion Analyst with an emphasis on automation strategy, you will play a key role in analyzing public sentiment data, developing automation strategies, and ensuring effective moderation workflows. You will leverage public opinion tools to provide insights into sentiment trends and risk levels, while also managing urgent escalations from stakeholders. In this role, you'll continuously refine public opinion detection strategies, work with AI-driven tools, and identify opportunities for process improvements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Monetization Product, Integrity, Data Science, and Risk Management to drive critical initiatives and align operational workflows with business objectives. Your ability to manage complex issues and optimize moderation processes will be essential in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to utilize public opinion event tools and techniques to deeply explore and analyze public opinion data, providing insights into the development and risk levels of public sentiment. Based on analysis results, write clear, accurate, and in-depth public opinion analysis reports, including regular reports and special reports, the necessity to quickly respond to and handle stakeholder escalations or incidents that may occur around the clock.
- Analyze public opinion event cases to identify key characteristics, incorporate relevant materials (such as words, images, or videos) into the auto moderation platform, and continuously refine strategies to improve accuracy in detecting and categorizing public opinion scenarios, while monitoring performance and implementing improvements for enhanced risk detection.
- Familiarity with AI products or auto moderation public opion event tooling operations. Expected to provide optimization suggestions and strategic direction for continuous improvement. Be able to assess current processes and identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Work closely and build trusted relationships with cross-functional partners, including TikTok Monetization Product, Ad policy, Integrity Product / Platform teams, Data science, PR/GR,Integrity operations teams, Risk. Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to develop and drive strategies and critical initiatives across functions on areas of improvement and deliver on the business requirements
- Design and implement operation workflows for public opinion monitoring and auto-moderation. Align operational plans with business needs and risk management strategies to ensure smooth platform operation and effective regional risk control.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above, with no major limitation; with 2+ years of experience of working in a fast-paced environment & similar function, and adapting to changes (e.g in public opinion research,Public Relations, Communications,politics or related fields).
- Familiar with the characteristics of public opinion dissemination, a strong focus on trending news topics, and the ability to provide objective and in-depth insights into public events.
- Familiar with auto moderation products with a mindset for product operations, capable of transforming operational issues into product operation solutions,able to quickly respond to complex projects in collaboration with stakeholder teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong innovative spirit and passion, fast learner, ability to independently multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, and in-depth understanding of advertising business, content business and its related to technologies;
- Experience in auto moderation or AI product operations and the ability to develop and implement auto moderation tooling methodologies is preferred.
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to use data analysis and visualization tools
