About The Team:
The TikTok North America Legal Team provides key support in the United States and Canada for four major verticals: (i) Monetization/Ad Sales; (ii) Commercial and Intellectual Property; (iii) E-Commerce/TikTok Shop; and (iv) Canada, Emerging Products, and Corporate Governance.
The North America Monetization/Ad Sales Legal vertical provides key support for all of TikTok's monetization initiatives, ad products, ad policy, and integrated platforms servicing our revenue-generating businesses.
The legal team is growing fast and seeking highly experienced, bright, and capable professionals to join us. The following describes the responsibilities and requirements for the role.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive large-scale, complex projects, processes, and strategic initiatives across a range of subject matters which may include Ad Sales, Ad Policy, E-Commerce, B2B Marketing, Production/Distribution, and Ad Tech.
- Collaborate with legal including, outside counsel, and cross-functional business partners in multiple offices across the globe including, product, creative, operations, finance and HR, to provide scalable solutions that will increase the efficiency and productivity of all team members.
- Facilitate strategic discussions, build trust, and obtain consensus from department leads and other team members.
- Proactively identify areas for optimization, and design and implement innovative solutions, including technological, operational, and change management remedies.
- Set, measure, and produce reports on operational metrics and outcomes and continually improve processes through industry-leading methods.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of program/project management, operations, or consulting experience at high-growth organizations.
- Bachelor's degree, a paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program, program management certification, or equivalent practical experience related to this role.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally . Experience independently planning, organizing, and prioritizing time and competing deadlines to complete job responsibilities in a rapidly scaling environment.
- Efficiently collaborate with legal and critical cross-functional business partners.
- Keen ability to discover and troubleshoot issues to deliver operational and technological improvements.
- Clear and effective communicator with a commitment to responsiveness and problem-solving.
- Highly detail-oriented, with superb analytical, research, and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced and certified in Six Sigma or other relevant process optimization frameworks is a plus.
- Experience at startup or technology-focused companies is a plus.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $140000 - $228000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
