About the team
The PMO and Compliance Team is responsible for helping to coordinate and push forward the team's key objectives. The team works on varied projects that are of high strategic value and integral to key decision making for TikTok Product growth. This role within the team is focused on providing deep insights through extensive research to inform leadership views and executive decision making and long-term strategy.
In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.
Responsibilities
• Develop through analyses of key strategic questions and use data-driven approaches to support key decision making, covering a wide range of topics including data compliance analysis, product strategy analysis, competitive analysis, etc.
• Strategize and execute compliance practices from product perspectives, through working with business and compliance stakeholder teams, identifying undiscovered gaps and aligning with senior management's directions.
• Identify product trends, new business opportunities, and competitor strategies to support management-level decision making and deliver it in compelling and well-synthesized reports
• Collaborate frequently with cross-functional leaders to deliver comprehensive insights with a holistic view from the company's perspective
• Manage cross-department high-priority projects at TikTok Product and push for change management to support the company's long-term business objectives
• Proactively identify areas of improvement to continuously improve TikTok Product's overall business
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelors degree or above is required with 2+ years of people management experience
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English in order to translate documentation from stakeholders
• Experience in tech strategy, consulting, investment or related areas
• Sound business judgment and proven ability to effectively communicate and influence others, including executive level reviews
• Strong data analytics & business analytics skills; able to interpret business data to provide management-level strategy recommendations; detail oriented when it comes to data analytics but always have the big picture in mind
• Strong strategic thinking mindset and structure thinking skills; able to breakdown ambiguous problems into clear, actionable analysis. Strong project management skills, and ability to take initiative and meet deadlines under minimum supervision
• Strong cross-functional communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and express complex ideas succinctly
Preferred Qualifications
• Deep curiosity, with a strong desire to understand and synthesize "how the dots connect"; a lifelong learner who is always asking questions
• Strong passion and extensive experience & knowledge in the tech and media industries
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and work under pressure
• Data security and compliance related experience

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $110222 - $202666 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
