About E-commerce
TikTok Shop is a discovery-based E-Commerce platform dedicated to becoming the first choice for users to discover and get good products at good prices. About the team
As part of the Global Governance&Experience Product Solutions & Operations team, you will lead market research, identify product opportunities, and build go-to-market strategies for TikTok Shop's governance&experience products. You will be responsible for designing product solutions, driving the end-to-end product journey, from product development to testing, launching, and adoption, and shaping the future of TikTok's eCommerce products.
Responsibilities
1. Complete core projects to deliver solutions to complex issues that involve cross-domain product changes.
2. Conduct quantitative and qualitative market studies to gather insights for product design.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, Data Science, and Engineering, to shape the product strategy and roadmap.
4. Prioritize product requirements using ROI analysis, dependency analysis, and other techniques.
5. Participate in the product development lifecycle, review various artifacts to ensure quality, and participate in user acceptance testing to ensure product quality and optimal user experience prior to product launch.
6. Plan and execute go-to-market activities, including product documentation, target audience activation plans, and operational support tools.
7. Monitor key product performance metrics, conduct gap analysis, and drive product improvement plans.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. 3 years of experience in product design, marketing and strategy in the internet industry. E-commerce experience in a related domain is a plus.
2. Proven experience in influencing product development and strategy using quantitative and qualitative market insights.
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, comfortable navigating global organizational structures and aligning objectives with cross-functional teams.
4. Strong analytical skills and a bias for action, comfortable with setting ambitious targets, analyzing the status quo, planning a course of action, executing rapid trial and error iterations, and constantly improving.
Preferred Qualifications
1. A Bachelor degree or a Masters degree in related fields (Computer Science, MBA, Economics, Data Science) preferred.
2. Excellent communication and persuasion skills, organizational coordination, and ability to handle pressure, with a result-oriented mindset.
3. A good understanding and practical experience of back-end technology, platform products, or models.
