Team Introduction
TikTok seeks a product marketing professional with a background in digital media and ad tech to lead product strategy and go-to-market in Japan and Korea. Sitting in the Product Strategy & Operations organisation, this role will lead our capable team of Product Marketing Managers to land the right solutions in our market to grow revenue and also ensure to bring market insights to our product teams. he role involves close collaboration with both in-market sales and global product teams in a high growth environment. Abilities to self-motivate, prioritise projects and influence cross functional partners are key skills. Ideal candidate should have experience leading and developing a team, seeing through projects and working with digital advertising products. This is a full-time position based in Japan.

Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for TikTok monetization products focussed on brand segment
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute regional programs and initiatives to drive adoption of key products and solutions
- Analyze, evaluate and synthesize market opportunities and customer problems to inform product strategy and roadmaps
- Responsible for market-fit of TikTok's brand & video advertising products in Japan
- Build the communication bridge between Japan and global teams, lead project management and cross-functional collaboration for product planning and launch.
- Be the market expert on brand & video advertising solutions landscape
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy or product management or relevant experience (partnered with product management and/or engineering to represent market)
- Experience in CPG/FMCG or brand-focused industry or agency
- Experience in developing go-to-market strategies and taking internet products through the full lifecycle
- Familiar with Japan's Internet advertising, especially the brand advertising market
- Fluency in English and Japanese is a must
- Commercial mindset with experience building data-driven business cases to drive strategic product and business investments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ads monetization business and ecosystem
- Experience working with Influencers and MCN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus for internal communication with the China office.
