Responsibilities
The API Product Team facilitates partners, advertisers, and developers in buying Ads on TikTok at scale. We collaborate with developers to define, build, and launch features that address key pain points and leverage partners' unique capabilities during the ads buying process.
We are currently innovating to redefine the marketing experience and how third-party companies interact with advertisers. This is a high-visibility role that lays the foundation for future developer collaboration. The role entails working with cross-functional stakeholders to set and align the strategic direction of the product.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product development and execution for their product by collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization.

- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Partner Management teams to clearly understand customer pain points.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality products from concept to launch.
- Write Product Specifications to clearly define requirements, make thoughtful product decisions to solve customer problems, make trade-off decisions, and communicate effectively.
- Define success metrics and closely collaborate with the Data Science team to analyze product success.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree and 2+ years of direct work experience as a Product Manager.
- Experience with API integrations and platform development.
- Experience in solving ambiguous problems and executing complex projects by aligning leadership.
- Strong internal and external communication skills, both oral and written.
- Analytical and data/result-driven. Understand shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the advertising tech industry.
- Familiarity with TikTok's advertising ecosystem.
- Previous experience working in a startup or fast-growing environment.
- Proficiency in Mandarin for global cross-functional collaboration.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $149040 - $311600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
