Team Introduction
TikTok Design Team is to provide first-class user experience for hundreds of millions of users around the world, thereby helping them create and express better, discover the diversity and beauty of the world, break down more barriers, and build bridges between people. We are an international design team with Product Designer, Creative Designer, Visual Designer, Content Designer and Localization Expert from all over the world working together to make every impossible possible.
Responsibilities
1. Design for TikTok, the creative short video platform that targets global users.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, researchers, UX writers, and engineers.
3. Participate in every aspect of the product development process, from generating ideas to refining pixel-perfect designs before launch.
4. Rapidly prototype conceptual product ideas, design user flows based on data analysis and user research, gather feedback from various stakeholders, iterate on designs, and deliver products with the best user experience.
5. Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Strong in interaction design, and regularly execute prototypes using tools like Figma.
2. Great communication skills to be able to articulate your concepts, vision and decision-making.
3. Experience working with multiple stakeholders across the org.
4. Ability to rapidly iterate and produce multiple concepts.
5. Results oriented and resilient. Ability to fit within a startup culture which celebrates efficiency and driving impact.
6. At times, work efficiently under high levels of pressure and demanding timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Ability to rapidly iterate and produce multiple concepts;
2. Experience with A/B testing and data driven practice;
3. Results oriented and resilient. Ability to fit within a startup culture which celebrates efficiency and driving impact;
4. Knowledge of working with Figma, Principal, Adobe Creative Suite, and OSX, iOS & Android;
5. A passion and enthusiasm for TikTok and its community!
