About the Team
PDPO(Privacy and Data Protection Office) is the organization to lead, supervise, and empower all TikTok's privacy work in an accountable and industry leading way. This team is the expert in the landscape of privacy risks and passionate about consulting across the company on implementing the proper safeguards and technical mitigations to ensure that our users' privacy is honored across the TikTok's products and platforms.
We are looking for a highly motivated Training and Awareness Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in promoting "Privacy First" culture in the organization by developing and delivering privacy training programs that align with our company's privacy objectives. You will be responsible for conducting training needs assessments, designing engaging curriculum and learning materials, and overseeing all aspects of training interventions.
Your primary role will be to improve privacy awareness among all TikTok employees and deepen their understanding of privacy and provide professional "privacy by design" practical trainings for employees working on international products in meeting privacy compliance requirements. You will organize online and offline awareness activities such as privacy weeks and salon sharing and maintain publicity channels such as privacy clubs and privacy observatories.
As a Privacy Training Program Manager, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify training gaps and develop targeted solutions to address them. You will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
We firmly believe that through training and communication, all employees better understand their role in maintaining strong privacy practices and help the company create safe and reliable international products. There are future plans for the team hold external activities such as media open days and industry summits to enhance the influence of the industry, share our insights and best privacy practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree or above in information security, computer science, law, communication or related majors
2. Excellent written and spoken communication skills are essential to this role
Preferred Qualifications:
1. 5 years work experience in corporate training or learning and development with domain knowledge in the field of privacy, data protection or cybersecurity is preferred;
2. The ideal candidate must be a great team player, a quick learner and must be able to present well to stakeholders

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $147200 - $269800 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
