Responsibilities
The Trust & Safety Policy team develops and reviews our community policies to promote a positive and safe environment for all of our users and content creators to enjoy and express themselves.
As T&S Policy Content Strategy Manager, you will be driving transparency about TikTok's community policies and our approach to user safety and user education.
What will I be doing?
- Drive the content strategy for TikTok's Trust & Safety websites, e.g. TikTok's Safety Center.
- Define long-term strategic goals related to the transparency of our policies and user education.
- Identify strategic opportunities to align approaches, leverage existing resources, with a view to increase the quality, accessibility and visibility of transparency efforts.

- Drive relevant projects as required.
- Author or support the development of high-quality, engaging and accessible content related to Product Policies and transparency work.
- Organize and articulate ambiguous and complex ideas or issues into clear documentation and analysis.
- Manage cross-team relationships, in particular with senior stakeholders - collaborate with others in Product Policy, with Product, Legal, Public Policy, and Public Relations teams to build consensus.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in Trust & Safety policy, public policy, or policy comms specifically in the technology/social media/content development space.
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to easily distill and communicate complex issues for a wide range of audiences.
- Deep understanding of content safety considerations, including online abuse, minor safety, as well as human rights, freedom of expression, privacy rights etc.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-function teams and in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A good understanding of tech regulation and compliance, particularly in the EMEA region.
- Experience working at a global UGC platform.
- Project management experience.
