We're seeking an experienced Performance & Data Management Specialist to support our Employee Relations team (USA - UK - Australia) on a contract basis. This role will focus on implementing our Performance Management strategy in close collaboration with partners in Employee Relations, and working with Human Resources Business Partners (HRPBs), people leaders, and Employment Legal. There is a secondary focus on data management, for which past experience in using and maintaining a database of HR-related case work will be helpful: tracking performance issues, investigations, workplace concerns, escalations, etc.; auditing database entries for accuracy and compliance; tracking SLAs; and reporting data.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end performance management (from identifying early signs of performance challenges; to aiding managers in effective developmental coaching; to reviewing and revising performance reviews to reflect consistent feedback; to writing and managing Performance Improvement Plans). They will be organized, agile, and efficient, with excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work in tandem with ER team to support company performance and employee development goals, through implementation of end-to-end performance management process and related matters;
- Drive team in development and maintenance of data management platform to foster the accurage gathering, reporting and assessing of business intelligence on ER-related matters;
- Translate manager and 360 feedback into establishing clear performance standards (talking points as well as written documentation) and assist in outlining SMART goals to support underperforming employees by working with managers and HRBPs in the performance management process;
- Draft, edit, and revise performance feedback, using excellent communication skills to produce clear documentation and consistent work product;
- Apply understanding of corporate policies and practices, employment law, and other regulations to inform work and ensure comprehensive support and guidance; and
- Assist in implementing strategic projects to develop best practices, and help identify and support strategies to enhance employee relations capabilities with a "continuous improvement" mindset.
This is a 6-month contract payrolled through a third-party agency.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of performance management experience (Employee Relations, HRBP, or strong HR Generalist experience), HR compliance, and/or employment legal.
- Exemplary interpersonal and mentorship skills, and the ability to distill complex processes and developmental milestones into clear and easily digestible written standards.
- Experience with developing, maintaining, and interpreting performance data and statistics, and using data to look for trends and inform advice.
- Experience in designing and/or implementing HR compliance and employee relations processes, policies, and systems that work at scale.
- Working knowledge of employment laws in the US, and experience in (or curiosity and eagerness to learn) about laws in the UK and Australia.
- Ability to establish influential partnerships working with peers, senior leaders, and across organizational lines to provide effective and strategic employee relations advice.
- Effective management of multiple priorities under tight deadlines, prioritize conflicting demands, and execute initiatives with a bias towards actions and solutions.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (hourly)
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $35- $51.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
