About the Team:
Join our innovative marketing team at TikTok, where creativity and data-driven strategies come together to drive impactful results. As the Paid Media Lead, you will lead a team that spans both North and Latin America, encompassing diverse markets and cultures. Our team is dedicated to leveraging media partnerships, cutting-edge technologies, and strategic insights to enhance TikTok's presence and growth across the region. We thrive on collaboration, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in everything we do.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, oversee, and evaluate our media agency partners, ensuring optimal team structures and performance.
- Develop, manage, and execute top-tier media partnerships with media entities, entertainment companies, music festivals, sports leagues, and key verticals such as gaming, fashion, comedy, and fitness.
- Collaborate with marketing managers to plan, coordinate, execute, and report on the regional media strategy for marketing campaigns and activations.
- Drive marketing initiatives through a comprehensive multi-channel media strategy, including both digital and traditional offline channels.
- Work closely with internal marketing and cross-functional teams to develop media briefs and oversee the tactical execution of media buys, ensuring strategic alignment and timely delivery.
- Participate in campaign ideation, offering proactive media insights to inform overall campaign strategy.
- Analyze the effectiveness of media campaigns, optimize spend and performance, and communicate data-driven, actionable insights to support marketing team goals.
- Identify and engage with new media partners, integrating them into our overall media strategy.
- Identify strategic opportunities for operational efficiencies within the team.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
-Experience in media leadership, with extensive experience in both offline (TV, radio, OOH, DOOH, cinema) and online digital channels (programmatic, paid social, branded content, connected TV, streaming, etc.).
- Strong project management skills, experience with campaign planning cycles, and managing large budgets.
- Proven track record in developing and executing holistic media plans in the entertainment or tech sector (brand or agency).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong collaborative skills and experience working with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
- Demonstrated people management skills.
- Deep understanding of local markets within North and Latin America, with knowledge of local cultures and marketing opportunities.
- Proven experience in developing successful marketing plans and campaigns.
- Metrics-driven mindset with a keen eye for creativity.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in leveraging data analytics and visualization tools to inform strategic decisions.
- Proven experience with influencer marketing and content partnerships.
- Strong network within the media and entertainment industry.
- Certification in digital marketing or a related field.
- Experience with emerging media platforms and technologies.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operations effectively.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $133000 - $242000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
