About the Team
TikTok is seeking an Organizational Culture Business Partner (OCBP), to support our growing organization globally. This role will be part of the Organizational Culture Team, responsible for shaping, nurturing, and growing our ByteDance and TikTok culture. This is a full-time role located in Los Angeles.
This role will partner with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and leaders, such as our HR Business Partners, Business Leaders, Internal Communications, Learning & Development, and Talent Management teams. You'll be supported by the broader Organizational Culture team. Comprising of specialists in culture content production, culture events/marketing, culture measurement, and culture training and mechanisms.
Specifically, you will:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of TikTok's organizational culture, including ByteStyle (our unique set of working styles) and Leadership Principles (expectations for leaders).
- Gain insight into TikTok's business objectives, priorities, and challenges across various departments, ensuring alignment with culture initiatives.
- Lead the planning and execution of company-wide organizational culture projects within TikTok, collaborating closely with the broader Organizational Culture (OC) team.
- Partner with HR teams (HR Business Partners, Learning and Development, Talent Management) and department-specific OC teams to implement culture projects tailored to each department's needs. Ensure alignment with our global company culture and address employee engagement sentiment.
- Develop, implement, and assess culture training solutions to enhance awareness, understanding, and application of our culture among leaders and individual contributors.
- Demonstrate flexibility and agility in navigating changing priorities and responsibilities to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
- 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering leadership development and/or organization behavior solutions within a corporate or management consulting setting. Subject matter expertise can be in any business or technical field.
- Proven ability to autonomously manage multiple projects concurrently, showcasing strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- Experience with change management methodologies and guiding global organizations through cultural transformations, indicating the ability to navigate complex organizational changes effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Global OC experience: Prior experience working in a global or multinational organization, demonstrating exposure to diverse cultural contexts and business environments, enhancing adaptability and cultural awareness.
- Passion for HR/Organizational Culture: Enthusiasm for human resources, internal communications, or organizational culture, coupled with the ability to grasp corporate management philosophies and effectively communicate related messages through high-quality deliverables.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Excel, or Power BI to extract insights and drive strategic decision-making, enhancing the ability to leverage data for informed cultural initiatives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and inspire teams globally across multiple functions.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $97470 - $216600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
