About the Team
The Global Business Solutions, SMB Marketing Team's purpose is to make TikTok the most relevant growth platform for small and medium-sized businesses, providing education, guidance, and showcasing success. The SMB Marketing Team works in close collaboration with the SMB Sales and SMB Product teams, becoming the champions of SMB audiences, continually optimizing performance-driven messaging strategies and customer journeys.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and results-driven senior Marketing Leader ready to spearhead our new advertiser acquisition efforts for TikTok's advertising products. This role will build and lead a high-performing team focused on building awareness of Tiktok's ad solutions and nurturing small, medium, and mid-market businesses through to their first 90 days of advertiser success. This leader will be a strategic thinker, a data-driven marketer, and an exceptional people manager.

Responsibilities
Solutions Awareness:
- Drive thought leadership and establish TikTok as the premier advertising platform by leading a team to develop compelling advertising solution awareness campaigns and creative assets in partnership with Growth Acquisitions teams.
- Manage a team member and our creative agency partners to deliver high-quality campaign assets (OOT, PMax, Search, YouTube, streaming audio) on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and vision to build long-term customer equity, trust and deliver customer demand to drive acquisition channel conversion.
- Proactively identify and recommend new channels and innovative approaches to raise awareness of the TikTok Ads platform and its benefits to potential advertisers.
Nurture and Sales Enablement:
- Lead a team to nurture businesses from registration through a successful first 90 days of advertising, encompassing self-serve, vendor, and sales-touch enablement programs (email, events, campaigns, incentive programs, narratives, campaigns, etc.); as well as 3rd party programs like Affiliates and API partner nurturing (Shopify, Woo, Wix) at scale.
- Oversee team execution within email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, internally built systems) while ensuring alignment with broader marketing narratives and customer lifecycle journeys.
- Partner closely with sales teams to develop and execute bespoke enablement programs, events, and activations tailored to grow specific customer segments through their first 90 days of spending.
Brand & Event Experiences:
- Lead the team in delivering high-impact, ROI-driven external industry and internal events (e.g., SXSW, TikTok World, HubSpot Inbound).
- Support sales teams to cultivate net new leads and existing client growth to build relationships with C-suite executives, decision-makers, and practitioners through strategic event participation to build credibility in the market and drive proven revenue growth.
- Exercise sound judgment in selecting events aligned with strategic objectives and present compelling justifications to leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in driving advertising revenue growth, specifically within the commerce sector.
- Deep understanding of online and offline commerce ecosystems, including closed and open-loop models.
- Experience developing and executing GTM strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
- Able to travel to LA, Austin, or NY 1x or more per quarter to build, foster cross functional and immediate team relationships.

- Possess a proactive mindset, excellent storytelling abilities, and comfort working in ambiguous situations.
- Be highly data-driven, speaking the language of business results, while also possessing a strong creative marketing sensibility and campaign expertise.
- Strong XFN collaborator, representing and surfacing broader business drivers guiding team and company to long-term success.
- Not afraid to get into the data themselves, provide technical review of processes, or get into delivering themselves hands-on.
- Experience with advertising platforms and technologies.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $133000 - $200000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
