About the team
We are looking for entrepreneurial spirits to join our monetization strategy and operations (MSO) team. You will have a ground floor opportunity to shape monetization efforts in APAC. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to assess performance and plan for the future.
The MSO organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
Our team uses data analysis to help drive the company's monetization strategy and operations. We're looking for a Strategy & Operations Associate to drive analytics initiatives that guide operational excellence for our APAC business.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with analysts and end users to develop data models, pipelines and data assets that will support a wide variety of use cases, from reporting to analysis and machine learning
- Ensure that the technical solutions provided by the data stack are driving optimal value toward business initiatives
- Build and maintain a high-quality data infrastructure that enables end users from across the organization to access timely and accurate data on a self-serve basis
- Harness the power of data by treating it as a product, and empower the MSO team to derive impactful insights and drive business success
- Work closely with data engineers/solutions teams to ingest more complex data points as the business evolves
- Develop new features or frameworks that support the automation of crucial MSO processes; champion efficiency to improve everyone's day-to-day
- Document data flows, definitions & data assets; serve as the steward of our organizational knowledge
- Establish data quality rules, standards & metrics; ensuring the health of our data operations
- Enable insights from an outsider's perspective to give a comprehensive view of business performance
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or Analytics, or relevant professional experience where applicable.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering / analytics-related roles, with a preference for experience within the Tech industry
- Strong Proficiency in SQL is a requirement; a background in Python would be a distinct advantage
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong intellectual curiosity with the ability to structure complex issues to generate value with minimal supervision
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to see the big picture
- Fast learner, with a willingness to delve into the root cause of problems
- Must have the combination of technical skills, enthusiasm for continuous learning, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
