Team Introduction:
We are the merchandise strategy team, part of the Tiktok Shop US Operations Center. The team focuses on merchandise strategy and related operations. We are mainly responsible for 1) selecting qualified merchandise by a set of criteria; 2) collaborating with category teams and user product operation teams (eg. UG, Campaign, Creator, Shoptab) to attain incremental GMV by boosting and subsidy on qualified merchandise.

Responsibilities:
- Product Pool Admission and Removal: Review products submitted by business teams based on established criteria for admission and removal in key product pools. Track the performance of product pools and take action to remove items that do not meet the required thresholds.
- Monitoring Product Pool Performance: Assist in creating and maintaining a data-driven system to monitor key performance indicators like product traffic and conversion rates. Help identify performance issues and support teams in implementing solutions.
- Product Information Quality Improvement: Help develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for product pools based on product information quality criteria. Work with business teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of product information.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- MBA or Master's student expected to graduate after November 2025. Academic background in mathematics, statistics, supply chain, computer science, or related majors is preferred.
- Exceptional ability of data processing and analysis. Proficiency in Excel, Word and other office software. Strong written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant internship experience in data analysis, category management and creator operation in internet e-commerce, and business analysis in consulting company is preferred.
- Data sensitivity, clear logic, self-motivation, and a strong sense of accountability.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (hourly)
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $38- $38.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
