Team Introduction
The legal team is growing together with our company and is committed to provide top-end in-house legal services to our internal clients. We are looking for a competent candidate to join us to work closely with internal stakeholders to provide pragmatic and strategic advice on innovative enterprise and consumer product offerings and services in the region.
This position provides candidates with a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge issues in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Candidates must be highly collaborative, self-motivated, adept at strategic thinking, and intellectually curious.
This role will be based in Jakarta.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage any contentious matters in all phases, from pre-litigation to litigation proceedings involving the company and/or the group in civil and criminal areas such as third party complaints or demands, law enforcement or government authorities investigations.

- Provide strategic advice and legal support to internal stakeholders to assess potential litigation risks and provide necessary recommendations from litigation perspectives.
- Draft and review all related legal documents and prepare legal opinions and internal memos on substantive pre-litigation or litigation issues.
- As the main POC to coordinate with outside counsels as relevant.
- Prepare and implement all necessary and relevant policies, guidelines and code of conduct related to the contentious matters handling framework.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Qualified to practice law in Indonesia (admitted to the bar and has advocate license).
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Experience in advising on laws related to consumer protection, platform liability, criminal and commercial litigation related disputes, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously, while paying attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- In-house experience in an international organization
- Strong background in handling contentious and litigation matters, particularly in the tech industry.
- Experience in handling IP, antitrust, regulatory enforcement, international litigation and cross-border related disputes is a plus.
