Team Introduction
SoundOn is an all-in-one platform powered by TikTok, designed to better service music creators through each step of their career - from TikTok integrated promotion tools to global music distribution, from diverse monetization opportunities to smart music creation. SoundOn exists to give every music creator & label the power to authentically connect with new audiences and "do music" their way.
Responsibilities:
- Grow SoundOn's label services partner base in METAPSA by identifying, negotiating and executing label services and JV deals with new partners
- Be the first point of contact and maintain day-to-day relationships for a varied roster of label partners
- Strategise and manage label release campaign logistics from inception through to analysis, collaborating with various SoundOn, cross-functional and external teams throughout the entire campaign process

- Identify and execute value-add strategies for SoundOn's existing label services roster
- Work closely with SoundOn's Head of Label Services to develop SoundOn's label services and product offering
- Work with Finance team to create project budgets across multiple regions and be responsible for project ROI
- Identify and track key metrics, and translate data into insights and trends
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- +5 years relevant experience in a record label, artist/label services or distribution environment
- Proven track record of high value account management and executing industry-leading release campaigns
- Strong negotiation and deal-making skills, with a detailed understanding of current distribution and label services trends
- Excellent working knowledge of digital music distribution, supply chain and DSP processes
- Sophisticated understanding of music industry and record label economics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong industry network and relationships within the independent space
- Passion for music with a deep understanding of TikTok, creator marketing and music trends
- Experience working directly with DSPs and understanding of the current DSP editorial landscape
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise to tight deadlines
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to approach new areas of business
- Excellent relationship building skills and a team-oriented approach
