Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize the new-user features and user experience of TikTok mobile application on iOS platform.
- Analyze and optimize iOS applications for efficiency and performance.
- Work closely with product team to conceptualize, develop, and launch new and innovative features.
- Support current features and improve and upgrade existing application codebase.
- Fix known bugs and improve the application performance.
- Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high-quality work on a tight schedule.
- Collaborate with the design and product teams to create a world-class mobile experience on iOS platform.
Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
- Designing and implementing mobile applications, including front-end UI logic and back-end business logic for iOS platform;
- Designing and implementing user interfaces and scripts for mobile applications using Objective-c, Swift, JavaScript, and React Native;
- Maintaining, debugging, and upgrading iOS mobile applications;
- Optimizing performance for iOS mobile applications using xCode and VSCode; and
- Designing and implementing software service architecture to support high throughput and fault tolerant services.

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $137750 - $237500 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
