About the Team:
Our Global Legal team provides key support for all TikTok's innovative initiatives, state-of-the-art products, and integrated platforms servicing our global video market. We help our technological and business teams enable their vision by providing integrated legal guidance and support. The TikTok team is growing fast and is seeking highly experienced, bright, and capable legal professionals to join the team.
About the Role:
This position will play an important role in TikTok's Global eDiscovery team. This position will assist the group leader in managing the implementation of e-Discovery and other processes necessary for litigation purposes, as well as work with cross-functional teams that support the collection of information needed to defend TikTok.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the current TikTok eDiscovery team to evaluate all potentially relevant company data applications and repositories including collaboration platforms, information systems, and communication applications with respect to the requirements and defensible standards across the entire Electronic Discovery Reference Model workflow.
- Support the Global Litigation & Antitrust team, Regulatory teams, and other legal teams through the development of document discovery processes, data mining, identifying and management of eDiscovery solution providers, and other operational support.
- Support relevant company policies, procedures, workflows, and software/platform development and configurations as needed to advance the company's e-discovery program.
- Manage the implementation and operation of eDiscovery procedures, processes, and supporting technology platforms in support of the Global Legal team.
- Work with cross-functional teams including engineering and Global Forensics teams on the management of data required for litigation and regulatory investigations.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Extensive experience managing e-Discovery programs that include large complex litigations for a global organization with a large and varied litigation and regulatory docket
- Strong ability to manage complex tasks, coordinating multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Proven track record of handling multiple projects under pressure, with the capacity to prioritize and allocate resources effectively.
- Collaborative mindset, working seamlessly across various functions including enterprise applications, security, and engineering teams.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with all levels of management, including senior leadership.
- Strong team leadership skills, with experience managing teams and employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated sound judgment, personal integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working in a technology company is a plus.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ)

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $132000 - $248400 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
