About the Team
The Global Agency & Accounts Team (GA&A) is a strategic and consultative partner to the largest advertisers and agencies in the world, helping them to develop TikTok solutions that build businesses and brands across our integrated suite of products.
We are looking for a consultative sales leader to join our Global Accounts Team based in New York. This individual will play a critical role in leading strategic partnerships between TikTok and the world's largest CPG advertisers. This team is consultative in nature and focuses on developing the long-term growth of each global account. The Global Client Lead will own and nurture C-level and senior business brand-side relationships.

We are looking for a strategic leader with deep sales and media experience that will work hand in hand with TikTok's regional teams around the globe. The Global Client Lead will anticipate the business needs of the world's largest advertisers, deliver measurable solutions, be proactive and anticipate business needs and opportunity areas, and shape new marketing approaches with their clients. They will develop strategies for global business development, work cross-functionally and collaboratively with the Consumer, Content, Product and Regional Sales units to drive organizational KPIs and be passionate about inspiring creativity and joy among our marketing partners around the world.
This role is responsible for partnering with the Global Accounts and regional (country) Sales teams to fuel revenue growth, negotiate strong partnerships (JBP contracts), use data and analytics to build consultative solutions for our largest global brand partners, and opportunity map growth areas for our business. Success in this position requires a focus on business development, excellent client service skills, the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment, skill in managing internal cross-functional teams and experience shaping and motivating a highly functioning team distributed around the globe.
The ideal candidate is an goal based leader, deeply passionate about cross-functional account management, proficient in high level strategic thinking, able to manage teams geographically distributed teams and have the ability to develop actionable strategies that drive business growth. This role requires the ability to work across different time zones and cultures and bring a philosophy of client-centricity to the role both internally and externally. The successful candidate is a builder, intellectually curious, creative, entrepreneurial, resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, strong in strategic thinking and has deep experience leading through influence.
Responsibilities
- Build and shape the vision, global strategy, approach, coordination, engagement planning and success metrics for a global account.
- Generate incremental revenue and help increase existing direct revenue from our top global accounts
- Build a 'ground up' comprehensive business plans, global in nature and regional in execution, that will drive top line revenue growth
- Develop and maintain C-level relationships to expand our presence, and educate and inform on the power of TikTok's platform
- Work with regional sales leadership to establish/set strategic objectives and goals that maximize business impact
- Negotiate annual JBP agreements that support client needs and internal teams across regions
- Regularly consult with regional sales leadership to enhance brand and product level positioning and engagement in their markets
- Sustain close communication and alignment with clients and regional sales counterparts to maximize client strategies and engender trust and collaboration
- Communicate global account strategies with internal stakeholders (regional GMs & regional sales leads) while driving regional consideration
- Partner with the internal Global Agency team and their key decision makers in order to drive collaboration and synergistic advancement at the global account and broader agency level.
- Work collaboratively with the partner Global Agency Team to help drive 360 planning
- Represent TikTok at key client and industry events, as a delegate and or speaker
- Lead a diverse team of globally distributed account directors
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Relevant leadership CPG experience in a media agency and/or sales orgainization
- Experience managing senior client leaders and c-suite executives
- Strong people manager (global team management is preferred)
- Experience setting and developing actionable strategies for revenue growth
- Global experience operating at global networks in previous roles and deep understanding of nuances by region
- Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to identify insights + assess business performance
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills that will be showcased while working with internal and external leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing CPG advertisers with a deep understanding of their business and media challenges
- Fluent in both digital and traditional media terminology and measurement with direct experience
- Creative thinker, problem solver, and passionate about going beyond benchmarks

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $154000 - $300000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
