The TikTok LIVE team's mission is to work hand-in-hand with LIVE creators, agencies, and partnership organizations to create an environment that brings communities together in real time to create meaningful and interactive connections around the globe. Our commitments include delivering interactive experiences, supporting creators, and fostering partnerships. Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities:
As a Gaming Live-streaming Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our live-streaming activities. Your primary focus will be to analyze the live-streaming ecosystem and assist with basic operational tasks. Responsibilities include:
- Livestream Support: Assist in setting up, testing, and troubleshooting live-streaming features such as TikTok LIVE, LIVE Studio, and other TikTok/streaming ecosystem features.
- Content Preparation: Help prepare materials for best practices on TikTok livestreams, including at-scale education, key talking points, and content ideation.
- Operational Tasks: Assist with scheduling campaigns, managing calendars, and coordinating with team members or guests.
- Research & Analysis: Stay up-to-date on live-streaming trends, platforms (e.g., Twitch, YouTube, TikTok Live), and best practices to contribute fresh ideas. Study popular LIVE trends on TikTok and create actionable analysis of those trends.
- Post-Stream Tasks: Help with clipping highlights, editing short-form content for social media, and organizing stream archives.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- A strong interest in livestreaming, gaming, content creation, or digital media.
- Basic familiarity with livestreaming platforms (e.g., Twitch, YouTube Live, TikTok Live).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a computer.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and explain trends logically (e.g., understanding why certain content resonates with audiences).
- Technical Skills: Experience with livestreaming software (e.g., LIVE Studio, OBS, Streamlabs) and basic knowledge of video/audio equipment setup on both PC and mobile streaming.
- Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with social media trends, platforms, and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere, etc.).
- Creative Problem-Solving: A logical and structured approach to solving problems, with the ability to balance creativity and data-driven decision-making.
- Community Engagement: Prior experience in community management or creator engagement.
- Mandarin Chinese Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write Mandarin Chinese to assist with content or communication in multilingual contexts.
