We are responsible for maintaining the TT4B website and providing efficient, innovative marketing solutions to global advertising clients. This role as a High-Performance SSR & SEO Engineer, you will join our team to develop and optimize server-side rendered (SSR) pages while significantly boosting the website's exposure and click-through rates on search engines. You will play a crucial role in building a robust and efficient product ecosystem, driving continuous improvements in website performance and SEO, and helping attract high-quality advertising clients to the team.
We are looking for a versatile and experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our Global Operations Website Team and contribute to the ongoing development of the TikTok for Business Global website. This role involves working across the entire tech stack, from designing front-end interfaces to building robust back-end services, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience for our B2B audience. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of the TikTok for Business website.
- Build scalable and secure APIs to support website functionality.
- Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and product managers to implement new features and enhancements.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and responsiveness.
- Manage database integration and data flow between front-end and back-end systems.
- Debug and resolve technical issues across the stack.
- Ensure code quality through regular testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve the platform.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (with professional experience in fullstack development).
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Vue.js, SSR) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, or similar).
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for web applications.
- Experience with front-end performance tools (e.g., Lighthouse, Webpack).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for TikTok's mission and a deep understanding of its platform and user base.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $145000 - $260000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
