We are seeking experienced Frontend Software Engineers to join our Monetization Product and Technology team. This role focuses on infrastructure development, where you will be instrumental in building and optimizing foundational systems to enhance our development workflow, improve scalability, and ensure robust performance. Your contributions will significantly impact our engineering efficiency and the overall reliability of TikTok's products.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the runtime and compilation engines of the front-end framework to provide a unified code foundation and style for advertising technologies.
- Design and build UI configurable platforms to provide better advertising horizontal capabilities for various kinds of advertising.
- Develop engineering efficient tools like i18n, event tracking to streamline the development process.
- Identify inefficiencies in organizational collaboration and develop tools to improve productivity.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of technical solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
2) 1+ years experience building infrastructure for enterprise applications or similar experience.
3) Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and their integration with Web Components.
4) Experience designing, analyzing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources. Experience building and shipping high quality work and achieving high reliability.
Preferred Qualifications:
1) Exposure to architectural patterns of enterprise applications (low-code platform, data analysis platform, enterprise platform engineering etc.).
2) Responsible for Complex Product Domain: advertiser creation; Products Management for E-commerce; Logistics Products, Trading Products infrastructure etc.
3) Track record of setting technical direction for a team, driving consensus and successful cross-functional partnerships.
4) Experience in programming languages such as Go, Python, Java.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $145000 - $250000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
