Team Intro
Within USDS, our eDiscovery team plays a critical role in supporting TikTok's Global Legal Team as well as Privacy & Security efforts by providing expertise in litigation discovery processes such as legal holds, preservation, collection, processing, review workflows, compliance management systems development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the continuous evolution and development of appropriate compliant e-Discovery policies, procedures, workflows and the selection of eDiscovery software/platforms and services in support of both the Global Legal Team and Security and Privacy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business system administrators and developers regarding the development of compliant eDiscovery supporting functionality and capabilities.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including Global Legal, Forensics, IT system administrators and data security personnel, to preserve, collect and export data for litigation and other legal purposes.
- Assist in the execution of various e-discovery workflows including; legal holds, preservation, data collection, processing, data culling and review.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of litigation discovery experience, including data preservation, collection, scoping and review of data from a broad array of repositories and systems, including proprietary systems.
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks with a broad spectrum of stakeholders at the same time.
- Proven ability to function well under pressure in order to quickly and effectively prioritize resources and achieve positive results.
- Possess a collaborative outlook and approach to working across diverse business functionalities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated judgment, personal integrity and inter-personal skills, curious and creative problem solver
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Experience using Nuix Workstation, Relativity and Exterro
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $112860 - $236310 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
