About the Team
SoundOn is an all-in-one platform powered by TikTok, designed to better service music creators through each step of their career - from TikTok integrated promotion tools to universal music distribution, from diverse monetization opportunities to smart music creation. SoundOn exists to give every music creator & label the power to authentically connect with new audiences and "do music" their way.
Responsibilities:
- Develop playlist pitching strategy to drive audience and streaming growth for artists across streaming platforms.
- Work with internal teams such as artist partnership team and A&R team to design and share pitch material with streaming partners.
- Collaborate with streaming partners and agencies to maximize exposures and emerging opportunities for new releases.
- Explore partnership opportunities with digital streaming platforms to drive DSP market shares and to enhance our off-platform promotion capability.
- Identify and drive co-promotion and cross-promotion opportunities with internal and external partners.
- Manage DSP and partnership resources to maximize Artist Partnership signings.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant music industry experience.
- 3+ years experience at digital music streaming platforms/companies.
- Strong relationships with key streaming platform partners.
- Able to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong music analysis skills and able to utilize data to identify platform growth opportunities.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $83600 - $188522 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Our time off and leave plans are: 10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 10 paid sick days per year as well as 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and 8 weeks of paid Supplemental Disability.
