Team Introduction
SoundOn is an all-in-one platform powered by TikTok, designed to better service music creators through each step of their career - from TikTok integrated promotion tools to global music distribution, from diverse monetization opportunities to smart music creation. SoundOn exists to give every music creator & label the power to authentically connect with new audiences and "do music" their way.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead distribution operations strategy, work with product and music teams to set up, monitor, and administrate timed music releases in our system
- Oversee the catalog onboarding process with new clients for efficient content and metadata ingestion between clients and off-platform partners

- Moderate and enforce on and off-platform operational standards to ensure the successful delivery of client releases
- Help troubleshoot and proactively identify any issues involved in the distribution process between clients and distribution partners, ensuring all assets are delivered correctly and deadlines are met for clients and vendors
- Communicate and respond to inbound requests from clients, digital service platforms and distribution partners
- Assess and refine internal workflows and best practices to improve the client and distribution experience
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in an operational or supply chain role at a content or music distribution company
- Familiarity with third-party content management systems and programs including iTunes Connect, Spotify For Artists, and YouTube CMS
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Strong problem-solving ability and technical understanding
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DDEX, XML, and other metadata standards preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues
