Responsibilities
To support the fast growth and manage the massive content on the platform, ByteDance's infrastructure team is building hyper-scale datacenters globally that host hundreds of thousands of servers. We are looking for a passionate and structured project manager to overlook the End-to-End process in Data Center lifecycle management, including data center planning, sourcing, deployment and decom. You will work closely with Infrastructure engineering, Strategy, Data Center Engineering, Operation, Capacity Planning and Global Supply Chain teams to manage complex construction and service projects primarily in AMER and EMEA. By partnering with cross regional and functional team members, you will be able to overlook hyper-scale data center projects which will support strategic initiatives and enable millions of creators. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing complex projects and building constructive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- As a project manager, you'll lead and collaborate with cross-functional team, including infrastructure engineering, planning, delivery and network team to produce regional supply strategy.
- Lead a cross-functional team including finance, taxation, legal and policy team to complete due diligence in new region development and drive delivery of strategy.
- Manage cloud infrastructure portfolio, including key technical specification, availability, deployment and commercial milestones.
- Drive capacity planning initiatives to set up forecast structure and drive executive decisions on capacity arrangement.
- Embrace ByteDance culture and principles and promote an environment that embodies ByteDance Principle and Values.
- Understand resources such as the power market, clean energy, and land resource development, and be able to conduct long-term analysis and prediction of energy expansion & price trends.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or other relevant fields; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Organizational, coordination and project management experience with proven experience leading complex initiatives to successful completion in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills and capable of interpreting customer needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant professional experience in tech infrastructure capacity planning, hyperscale data center construction and delivery, site selection strategy or supply chain management.
- In-depth knowledge with data center solutions is preferred

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $128160 - $304000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
