The team's general mission is to partner with cross functional stakeholders from a data perspective and provide best-in-class analytics and elite internal operational tool support. It includes 3 parts: Central D&A, Regional D&A, Data Operation team.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide best-in-class analytics, create unified measurement frameworks, and develop operational tools to evaluate and optimize Content Ops' contribution to TikTok's business.

- Provide a general measurement framework to evaluate Content Ops contribution with internal Content Ops team and Product and Algo team.
- Create elite one stop data tool with unified metrics definition for Content Ops team daily operation efficiency improvement.
- Provide best-in class analytics and ecosystem insights for the Content organization.
- Optimize/scope internal operational tools to improve efficiency in the areas reflected by general measurement framework.
As for Data & Analytics - Publisher team members, the main goals are to:
- Develop and optimize data solutions to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Design and implement measurement frameworks to track performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to uncover insights that drive content, creator, and business growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment of data strategies and methodologies.
- Support central pillars by providing market insights and adapting measurement frameworks to diverse needs.
- Continuously improve internal processes by identifying automation opportunities and reducing manual data work.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, with 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills in business metric evaluation, pattern recognition, and problem-solving to drive strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools, with a solid understanding of data warehousing and pipeline structures.
- Goal-oriented, adaptable, and capable of effectively collaborating across functions (XFN).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the internet industry, particularly social media platforms.
- Background in statistics, mathematics, business analysis, or a related field.
- Experience working in global markets and analyzing content ecosystems across different regions.
- Hands-on experience with Python and data modeling is a plus.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $150000 - $190000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
