About the team:
Creators are the heart and soul of TikTok. The Creator team's mission is to facilitate our Creator community's growth and development, drive high quality content production and increase creator engagement and product adoption through scaled content and education programs. This team will also create scalable initiatives to build, celebrate, and recognize our diverse and inclusive communities around the world.
The Creator Manager will be part of the Direct Creator Management team responsible for managing and growing "Established" creators for North America (NA) on TikTok, developing and championing best practices in 1:1 management to support various product and creative strategy needs. This role will report into the Lead of Direct Creator Management and be part of the NA Direct & Scaled Creator Management team whose remit includes best-in-class management of our emerging, established and top creators for the North America (NA) region, as well as developing a global, scalable approach to strategic partnerships with our top creators around the world, working closely with the regional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Review, select and onboard eligible creators based on centrally aligned eligibility criteria, alignment to business priorities while also considering exception criteria, content priorities, reactive opportunities, and portfolio capacity
- Host creators in person and/or online to share best practices, vertical content strategies, and product updates as well as answer questions and foster connections
- Use dashboards and automated weekly reports to understand portfolio performance and build data-informed content strategies to educate creators on relevant new product features and tools using resources from the Creator Development Team.
- Collect feedback and needs from the creator pool to share with XFN teams including Product, Creator Research, Content Strategy & Policy, Publishers Pillar, and TikTok Overall. Establish and support feedback loops.
- Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and TikTok for Good tentpoles and initiatives by localizing and sharing playbooks and resources when appropriate
- Monitor any sensitive, urgent, or repeat issues facing managed creators related to their on-platform content performance. Partner with XFN to understand and advocate for regional account support needs and feedback
- Identify key case studies and examples from managed Creators in the NA region to be highlighted in education initiatives and creator campaigns
- Collaborate with key cross-functional partners, especially Marketing, Public Policy and Comms teams, on initiatives related to advocacy
- Draft proposals and strategies in collaboration with the wider central creators team for initiatives that could support TikTok's DEI, XFN campaigns and innovation
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years working experience focused on the creator and content ecosystem, ideally with experience at other top content, entertainment and social media/influencer platforms or companies or relevant industries
- Previous experience managing creators
- Strong track record of working across teams, organizational structures, geographies to drive impact
- Exceptional creator/partner management capabilities
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exemplary interpersonal, analytical and communications skills.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment as a consensus builder across disparate business units with occasionally conflicting KPIs
- MS/MA/MBA considered a plus

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $83600 - $143555 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
