Team Introduction:
Creators are the heart and soul of TikTok. The Creator team's mission is to facilitate our Creator community's growth and development, drive high quality content production and increase creator engagement and product adoption through scaled content and education programs. This team will also create scalable initiatives to build, celebrate, and recognize our diverse and inclusive communities around the world.
The Creator Management Lead for Sports will have extensive experience of leading teams establishing direct relationships with a proven track record of negotiating and managing high value creators and driving product adoption of digital products/platforms with content creators. The lead will be a strong people leader with a coaching mindset and an ability to develop high performing teams and maintain strong morale. The lead will be accountable for adapting the global business priorities on Sports to the North America market, setting the strategy and tactics towards achieving the management of the highest impact creators and their subsequent quarterly growth within the vertical. As an expert in the vertical, the lead will advocate to global teams for the needs of creators influencing guidance, incentives and features that can be scaled across the regions.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team focused on growing a dedicated portfolio of Sports creators in North America driving product adoption, developing vertical case studies with high impact creators.
- Demonstrates strong expertise in content strategy development and execution, with a proven ability to negotiate and manage high-value partnerships with creators.
- Develops scalable strategies for partner acquisition and retention, ensuring alignment with business goals while continuously improving partner engagement and satisfaction.
- Lead and establish a strong XFN network with teams across GBS, Marketing, Public Policy and Comms teams, on initiatives related to advocacy and generate elevation opportunities that drive broader business impact and meet creator needs.
- Establishes and maintains continuous feedback loops between creators and product, applying a test-and-learn approach to translate business goals into impactful initiatives.
- Serve as the primary consultant and expert on Sports creator management and partner with the Creator Growth & Development team to inform adaptation and iteration of the creator management framework, operationalize and support scaling across the regions
- Collaborate closely with the creator development and creator product adoption team to support the rollout and adoption of priority feature education, programs, product adoption initiatives with managed creators in the NA region, contributing to measurable success metrics for these initiatives
- Partner with the managed creator support team to understand and advocate for creator support needs and monitor any sensitive, urgent, or repeat issues facing managed Sports creators related to their on-platform content performance.
- Identify key case studies and examples from managed Sports creators in the NA region to be highlighted in education initiatives and creator marketing campaigns
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing large teams with a proven track record of developing strong business impact focused on the creator and content ecosystem, ideally with experience at other top content, entertainment and social media/influencer platforms or companies or relevant industries
- Highly collaborative leader with strong track record of working across teams, organizational structures, geographies to drive impact
- Ability to develop scalable frameworks and approaches
- Exceptional creator/partner management capabilities and ability to develop these capabilities in their team
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment as a consensus builder across disparate business units with occasionally conflicting KPIs
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership in understanding key business priorities, including the ability to clearly articulate key issues, recommend solutions, and drive projects start-to-finish to serve those core business priorities
- Extraordinary organizational skills with the ability to work cross functionally with other stakeholder teams and senior leadership
- The ability to manage teams to meet deadlines and drive strong execution in a fast-paced environment
- Exemplary interpersonal, analytical and communications skills
- BS required, MS/MA/MBA considered a plus
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $145000 - $195000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
