About Our Team
TikTok Design Team is to provide first-class user experience for hundreds of millions of users around the world, thereby helping them create and express better, discover the diversity and beauty of the world, break down more barriers, and build bridges between people. We are an international design team with Product Designer, Creative Designer, Visual Designer, Content Designer and Localization Expert from all over the world working together to make every impossible possible.
Job Responsibilities
1. Taking ownership of the creative concept and design, for TikTok and TikTok LIVE;
2. Analyze feedback from users, using metrics to develop strategies that drive engagement and improve overall metrics and user experience;
3. Research aesthetic preferences across different countries, leveraging cultural understanding to help the team achieve diverse styles and perspectives;
4. Bring creative ideas to the table by exploring valuable initiatives beyond animations, including but not limited to short video production, physical collectibles, and special effects filters.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Strong in interaction design, and regularly execute prototypes using tools like Figma.
2. Great communication skills to be able to articulate your concepts, vision and decision-making.
3. Experience working with multiple stakeholders across the org.
4. Ability to rapidly iterate and produce multiple concepts.
5. Results oriented and resilient. Ability to fit within a startup culture which celebrates efficiency and driving impact.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Relevant internship experience in creative/visual design
2. Understanding of global products/environment, markets and styles
3. Experience working in a fast-changing, hands-on work environment
