About the team:
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science.
General Manager, GBS and the leadership team is looking for an individual to join them and help them maximise their effectiveness and impact by partnering with them on daily operations as well as strategic initiatives.
Objectives of the role:
- Maximise effectiveness of the leadership team in decision making and operations ; support strategic decision making
- Ensure strong operational excellence ; align teams and bring them closer towards similar objectives, help minimise inefficiencies in the organisation

Responsibilities:
- Oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution
- Assist and communicate with leaders in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
- Develop and build relationships with the organisation and help keep a pulse on the climate and mood of the organisation
- Act as business advisor in external meetings and social business engagements. On other occasions lead external business meetings as needed depending on specific project priorities.
- Identify areas of improvement across the organization and make actionable recommendations.
- Set key performance indicators in collaboration with the leadership team to measure and drive a holistic approach to business and organisation growth.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in business management, strategy and operations or executive roles
- Experience engaging with and aligning multiple stakeholders; ability to influence with limited authority
- Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives
- Experience in data analyses and comfortable using numbers for supporting decision making
- Written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years overall experience
- Management Consulting roles or strategy roles or business transformation roles
- Familiar with using powerpoint to structure critical issues and drive insightful recommendations
- Experience working in a multi-national environment or experience working outside Japan
