About the team
The AI Data Service and Operations (ADSO) team is responsible for providing safety and non-safety data annotation services and search operation services for all of the company's international products, which can also help international products build their own data ecological security.

As an Business Insights Analyst for AI Data Service and Operations, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, conducting competitor analysis and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market research and data analysis, with a keen interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning. This role requires a deep understanding of the AI data annotation industry, including emerging trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.

It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, risks and opportunities in the AI data annotation sector.
- Keep close to business operations to understand the priorities, challenges, etc. and provide relevant research findings to support the business.
- Independently lead a research scope from start to end, such as scoping of requirements, fieldwork, report writing, presentation of findings.
- Make use of both quantitative and qualitative analysis methods to deliver a well-rounded research finding.
- Monitor and generate regular trend reports to evaluate the impact of the latest developments in the AI industry, regulatory changes, and other external factors on our operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning, particularly as they relate to data annotation and labeling.
- Participate in industry conferences, webinars, and other events to network with key stakeholders and gather relevant insights.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven track record in conducting industry research and analysis preferably within the technology or AI sectors
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin (role will require candidates to work with external mandarin speakers), with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences.
- Proficiency in market research tools and techniques, including data collection, statistical analysis, and trend forecasting.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, particularly in the context of data annotation and labeling.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the AI data annotation industry or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
