The LIVE Operations team is dedicated to optimizing all aspects of TikTok LIVE. From content strategy, monetization, gifting, features, and data analysis to creator education, campaigns, and supporting agencies, we ensure a fun and safe space for all our LIVE users. Our mission is to drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and foster positive experiences for creators and agencies alike.
The TikTok LIVE Creator Network Business Development Lead plays a crucial role in securing sustainable growth for TikTok LIVE. This involves expanding our group of LIVE creator networks to deliver widespread LIVE education to creators while ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality content and interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to ensure our continued BD success, focusing, on among other things, on these areas:
- Strategy, structure and processes: Develop, implement and continuously refine strategies to identify and secure new creator network partners and other partnerships that drive TikTok LIVE revenue, as well as supporting structures and processes to enable business success
- Lead Generation: Source and identify new creator network prospects through various inbound and outbound channels, incl. TT Live, LinkedIn, social media, e-mail, events, conferences, etc. Maintain a CRM pipeline with consistent data hygiene.
- Pitching: Present the TikTok LIVE Creator Networks program to new prospects, qualify them, and secure partnerships.
- Signing: Support new creator network partners in the contract signing process, utilizing TikTok's commercial legal teams and other cross-functional teams as needed.
- Handover: Ensure proper handover of new creator network partners to Account Management team, facilitate onboarding programs where needed. Monitor success and use as feedback loop to inform further refinement of new creator network selection criteria
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Proficiency in German and English
Proven track record in sales and/or business development, demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs, as well as a result-oriented approach with a track record of achieving targets
Demonstrated team leadership capabilities, collaborative team player mindset and robust cross-functional stakeholder management skills, continuously striving for higher performance while contributing actively to a collective goal of success
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts and value propositions, and negotiate effectively while fostering long-term relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above
5+ years or more of work experience, preferably but not necessarily in sectors related to live-streaming, video-sharing, social media, tech, or start-ups, showcasing a deep understanding of industry intricacies and market nuances
Adeptness at creating and executing comprehensive BD strategies that align with business objectives, resulting in strong business results
Strong analytical abilities to assess market trends, competitor landscapes, and opportunities for TikTok LIVE's expansion within the creator network realm
* Real enthusiasm for livestreaming and sincere interest in creator networks' and creators' needs and points of view
