We are looking for a Business Development leader to join our Monetization Product Partnerships Team and focus on expanding our product partnerships and technical solutions that help advance the efficacy of our ads platform to drive business growth on TikTok. Partnerships are critical to bridging the technologies used to manage a business with TikTok and more efficiently reaching new and existing customers. As a Business Development Lead, you will focus on new business opportunities centered around building partnerships that expand a brand's ability to invest on TikTok Ads. The team's culture mirrors that of a small start-up; a team of entrepreneurs and leaders with an eye for what's next. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders including product, strategy, legal, partner activation/enablement, and marketing to unlock new ways for building for success on TikTok.
Responsibilities:
- Source, prioritize and establish opportunities with new industry channels and growing partner segments.
- Manage full procurement and contracting phases, including coordination with internal teams for product fit, impact potential and priority.
- Manage core operations for partner development efforts, including annual planning, OKRs, ongoing reporting and contract work, proactively resolving business issues.
- Conceptualize and pitch growth program opportunities for partners in evolving digital verticals (eg: travel, retail, delivery, etc), empowering brands to grow their business on TikTok.
Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years of client-facing experience in partnerships and business development.
- Experience sourcing new business opportunities in a fast-paced technical environment and as part of an international team.
- Experience with performance marketing and deep understanding of industry standards.
- Experience presenting to internal and external audiences at all levels of seniority.
- Quantitative and analytical expertise.
- You're a builder, incredibly organized and process-oriented.
- You are a strategic thinker, but you're also a doer, and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to execute.
- You thrive in an environment with evolving priorities and the opportunity to contribute to roadmap.
- Fluency in English required.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $151000 - $277000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
