About the team
We are one of the critical teams within TikTok, we support multiple international products and services to explore and develop around the global markets and various channels. The team's culture mirrors that of a small start-up; a team of entrepreneurs and leaders with an eye for what's next. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our OEM Partnerships team with a focus on strengthening the strategic partnerships with global OEM partners. This position requires excellent relationship building and product management including the appropriate level of influence and persuasiveness, along with the ability to work efficiently at all levels of an organization.
Job Description
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners to ensure the successful launch and prominent visibility of key products on the platform.
- Identify and prioritize partner goals, becoming an expert on each organization, business model and strategic priorities
- Facilitate partner interactions with cross-functional teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives
- Lead multiple engagements simultaneously over a variety of products & services including tech integration & optimization, support virtual and in-person events, demonstrations and workshops.
- Understand and communicate market/consumer needs and partner feedback on product quality and feature requests to internal product teams to provide better product experience.
- Expand the partner relationship/projects to additional markets to drive a scalable result. Able to track and communicate key metrics to accomplish strategic objectives with convincing data or metric.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Product Management, Partnerships and/ or Business Development.
- Deep understanding of apps ecosystem and IT industry including content platforms and public cloud areas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a respectful approach in all communications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with building strategic partnerships, negotiation, and execution in a cross-functional environment.
- Capability of handling complex, fast-moving and unforeseen communication challenges.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $155000 - $325000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
