About the Team
SoundOn is an all-in-one platform powered by TikTok, designed to better service music creators through each step of their career - from TikTok integrated promotion tools to global music distribution, from diverse monetization opportunities to smart music creation. SoundOn exists to give every music creator & label the power to authentically connect with new audiences and "do music" their way.
Responsibilities:
- Identify key artists & labels in the GSA (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) market as potential signings for SoundOn
- Negotiate & acquire licensing deals across both catalogue & frontline releases
- Contribute to country growth as the owner of artist & label development in the region
- Monitor available research & analytics tools & develop a competitive network of key contacts for talent discovery & acquisiton
- Manage & administer business objectives including artist and label onboarding, new releases, and catalog migration
- Analyze data to assess artist and track performance, identify market opportunities, and forecast business impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful artist and label presence across digital platforms, fostering trusted relationships and artist development.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in a relevant field within the GSA (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) music industry
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, including expertise in contracts evaluation and music legislations
- In-depth knowledge of multiple genres of music in both Global & German recorded music markets
- Competitive local & global network of key industry contacts
- Fluency in English and German language. English will be used as the primary language for work, while German will be used for market-specific communications

- Excellent communication skills and a strong music industry network
- Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive in identifying and solving problems
- Passion for music with a deep understanding of TikTok and music trends
- Knowledge of digital music distribution, music industry trends across all genres
