About the team
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science.
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (GBS) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time.
Responsibilities
- Building relationships and engagement with key people at the advertising agencies in charge

- Generating leads and credits for large-scale projects through advertising agencies
- Design and implement workshops for ad agencies → generate leads
- Develop and implement sales strategies by industry and product.
- Accumulation of knowledge and feedback to our marketing, product and operation departments
- Promotion and support of various projects e.g. package drafting/ sales expansion PJ, product sales expansion PJ, operation improvement PJ, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sales experience in digital media, digital ad agencies, ad tech companies, etc. on digital platforms and integrated ad agencies
- Understand specifications and placement algorithms of multiple advertising media
- Have proposed new advertising media of some kind able to understand and solve problems based on strategic thinking
- Ability to negotiate tenaciously and propose solutions from the customer's perspective
- Able to act with teamwork not only with own team but also with other departments and other regions
