Our Ad Operations team is essential to enabling flawless ad campaign executions, ensuring an optimized experience for both our users and brand partners. This team lends their technical and operational know how to help better support and inform our sales and planning teams, our clients, and our product teams, ensuring we continue to offer best-in-class platform capabilities for brands of all sizes.
About the Role:
We are looking for an Ad Operations Specialist who can jump in and cover a wide range of technical responsibilities, from coordinating cross-functionally to trafficking campaigns and quarterbacking the campaign reservation process. This person should be proactive and a technical problem solver, interested in working collaboratively to support our evolving ad platform.

Responsibilities:
- Own the set-up process, campaign management, and reporting for reservation and auction managed service campaigns.
- Monitor managed service campaign delivery to ensure campaigns reach the target audience, run smoothly, and exceed brands' expectations; this includes collaborating with teams on creative approvals, troubleshooting issues, managing scheduled and ad hoc report requests, and escalating issues to internal and external teams.
- Provide input to clients on effective campaign setup including tagging, targeting, and the use of mobile app and pixel tracking technologies to meet client KPIs.
- Serve as the key point of contact and support for Client Solutions in technical client communications.
- Troubleshoot, escalate and remediate technical platform issues in partnership with Product and Engineering support teams.
- Guide clients in their TikTok Pixel and mobile measurement partner (MMP) implementation and help evaluate setup prior to campaign launch.
- Create, organize and distribute technical/operational product documentation to support Product, Strategy and Operations (PSO) in general ad platform and feature walk-throughs.
- Participate in training that prepares internal teams for new products and updates within our ads platform.
- Partner with Sales, Client Solutions and PSO to collect customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve our products and services.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of ad ops experience on a programmatic or auction platform
- Familiarity with self-serve and auction ad platforms
- Experience managing branding & performance-based advertisers with a deep understanding of their challenges (preferably from agency background)
- Experience helping clients execute custom campaigns centered around performance KPIs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively translate technical language to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent collaboration skills
- High attention to detail and very organized
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ad verification partners (IAS, DV, MOAT)
- Ability to proactively troubleshoot and problem solve quickly and through the proper escalation process
- Ability to analyze data and identify insights to assess campaign performance
- Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience diagnosing and solving technical problems with product and engineering teams is a big plus
- Self-starter, a fast learner who has critical thinking
- Have a passion for TikTok
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $83600 - $128000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
