Team Introduction:
The mission of the Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC) is to manage all incoming and outgoing cash transactions in timely, accurate, efficient and controlled manner.
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for daily payment verification and processing for the EMEA region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial terms. Key duties include accurately coding entries, reviewing contract terms, managing AP inquiries, and training stakeholders on AP processes. Additionally, the position involves cross-departmental collaboration and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Payment Verification and Processing: Verify and process assigned payment requests for EMEA regions daily. Ensure accuracy and legitimacy of payment request information and supporting documents.
- Account Coding and Financial System Entry: Apply correct account codes conforming to standard procedures for proper entry into the financial system.
- Contract Review: Review financial terms in EMEA contracts and ensure payment requests align with these terms.
- Ownership and Accountability: Take ownership of assigned payment requests, ensuring their timely and accurate processing.
- Inquiry and Issue Resolution: Serve as the point-of-contact for addressing inquiries and issues related to AP and payment procedures.
- Training and Guidance: Train and guide internal and external stakeholders on proper AP procedures.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments within TikTok on processes and business solution projects.
- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ad Hoc Support: Provide support to the supervisor on ad hoc AP matters as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and above preferably in accounting or finance-related field.
- Fluency in Mandarin is required due to system limitations and documentation being written in Mandarin.
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a good team player with a positive customer service mindset.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving and financial skills.
- Account payables relevant working experience is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Highly motivated and willing to accept changes & challenges.
