The Analyst, Business Strategy and Content will support the Business Strategy and Specialist Relations Team within Nuveen’s Equities and Fixed Income (NEFI) organization. The Team is responsible for planning and executing the organization’s strategic initiatives designed to position its investment capabilities for growth and strong performance. Many of the initiatives underway are transformative, and are focused on investment team integrations, restructurings, operating model optimization, and compensation/incentive plan design. Additional responsibilities include managing relationships with investment specialists; partnering with Nuveen’s distribution, product, and marketing teams to showcase investment capabilities to clients; working closely with shared services (human resources, information technology, operations and finance) on cross-functional projects; and reporting on strategic initiatives to Nuveen and TIAA’s Boards and other stakeholders.

The Analyst will help all members of the Team carry out and communicate these important strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Support the planning and execution of Nuveen Equities and Fixed Income’s strategic initiatives including the preparation of presentations, memorandums, communications, project plans and other materials as needed
Drive process improvements around communications strategy and design
Prepare relevant communications and presentations for Nuveen leadership, including board material, strategy cascade materials, and other items as assigned
Perform market and financial analyses such as competitor intelligence and financial modeling to support business needs
Create metrics and benchmarks to measure key functions and initiatives
Develop an understanding of Nuveen’s investment capabilities and specialists
Assist in the creation of the communication strategy for NEFI

Potential Salary: $85,000.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
