The Sr Financial Analyst is responsible to partner with the Business Finance Officer for Retirement Strategy to provide the Business Area with decision making, problem–solving and strategic support through the use of management reporting, future-focused analytics, predictive modeling capabilities, decision tools to help drive businesses financial planning, budgeting and forecasting requirements; and supports the Business Finance and FP&A team to drive and support enterprise cadences and required activities.

Develop and manage project plans, resources, timelines, and deliverables
Drive Process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity of finance team
Support work for end-to-end segment/client level profitability analysis and deal pricing
Budgeting, planning, forecasting, analysis as well as financial stewardship and counsel
Ability to Work through ambiguity, developing key relationships with peers and leaders to achieve desired outcomes
Design, develop, and deliver insightful financial and operating results package as well as financial / pricing updates supporting business driven cadences (e.g. quarterly operating reviews, etc.)
Present and clearly articulate the financial results of the business area – have command of story, perspective on trends and recommendations around impact to strategy and execution towards strategy
Develop, enhance, and utilize financial models / tools for early identification of financial trends and drivers for use across business segments
Collaborate with business areas to develop operational and financial scorecard metrics, while incorporating productivity and continuous improvement methodologies to ensure long term success
Engages business partners with consultative mindset to effectively achieve financial and strategic goals and provide input and an informed opinion on key strategies
Partner with the Finance Centers of Excellence to ensure the appropriate level of consistent and relevant information is produced and available in timely manner for consumption by finance and business leadership teams
Ability to make clear connections between internal and external dynamics and making recommendations back to the business

This position will offer a hybrid work model (in office and remote) and can be located in either Denver, CO or Charlotte, NC.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of financial analysis experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of financial analysis experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
- Master’s degree - MBA or Finance
- 3+ years of experience from top Management Consulting firm
- 3+ Years of experience supporting senior leadership
- 3+ years of related experience with a strong understanding of financial statements and elements that drive those, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial information
- Ability to take concepts and strategies and create executive presentations with minimal direction and guidance.
- Financial Services Experience in strategic, finance and analytical functions particularly in retirement, sales, distribution, etc.
- Critical thinker and self-starter who is willing to work proactively to identify key business priorities and work across teams to implement the necessary solutions
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of Hyperion and Essbase
- Advanced Excel, Powerpoint, ThinkCell, Tableau, and Alteryx skills
- Demonstrated history of development executive presentations and underlying analysis
- Flexible, detail oriented and driven
Potential Salary: $98,500.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
