Production Team Editor
Works with Production Studio designers reviewing, writing, editing, and QC’ing content on jobs submitted to the Production Studio to ensure:
• Consistency with Brand voice and editorial guidelines and
• Accuracy of edits submitted by the project owner
• Must be a self-starter, highly organized and have an eye for detail



Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Extensive knowledge of TIAA’s products and services

  • Review production design jobs for marketing, sales and advertising materials working closely with the Design Production team to make sure that brand voice and message is consistent and on brand.

  • To make certain all content is understandable, scannable, benefits-oriented and contain actionable CTAs.

Review work for accuracy to assure the Production team is outputting quality work

  • Works across multiple distribution channels that span, print, email, mobile, web and landing pages

  • Identify and suggest improvements to work going through the Production Studio

  • Understand and interpret markups on pdfs

  • Quick turn-arounds, meet tight Service Level Agreements

  • Follow production schedules to ensure tasks are being completed on time

  • Assist as needed reviewing other Design Studio work as requested

  • Maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude while working in a team environment

    Primary Working Relationships

  • Works with their Manager, Production Studio designers, CC’s, Producers, Submitters as well as the rest of the Creative Design Studio team
     

  • Qualifications

    • 3 Years Required; 5 Years Preferred

    • University (Degree), Preferred

    Required Qualifications:

    • Three plus years industry related experience necessary
    • Three plus years of experience writing/editing/QC’ing for financial services industries
    • Three plus years of editorial and QC experience
    • Three plus years of being a mastery of the written English language and grammar
    • Three plus years with ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients 
    • Three plus years being able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and have strong attention to detail
    • Three plus years of experience with the ability to work as part of a team
    • Three plus years of strong organizational skills
    • Three plus years with ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • BS/BA preferred or related experience 
    • Working knowledge of layout, design, and typography and branding

    Potential Salary: $90,200.00 USD

    Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
