In this role, your duties will include understanding both sales needs and product features. Key Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Functions
Formulating and defining the system scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes.
Directing business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results.
Identifying and documenting all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.
Providing recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues, for a specific business group.

Skills and Competencies
Business Acumen: Caters to key stakeholders and their priorities. Participates in business task to get things done in own unit or area. IT Standards, Procedures & Policies: Develops templates for designing IT standards and procedures for technical business plans. Manages the process for IT standards and procedures delivery and implementation ensuring the organization is under effective management. Monitors the implementation of IT standards and procedures in IT projects or services. Evaluates the effectiveness of IT policies through professional group discussions. Revises IT policies, standards and procedures based on each department's feedback. Designs organizational IT policies, standards and procedures.
IT: a Business Within a Business: Evaluates current standards, policies and guidelines in the development of IT business services. Consults on key issues and challenges of internal and external IT businesses. Compares and contrasts benefits and risks of internal and external IT services. Monitors and coordinates preventive and scheduled IT business models. Supervises the evaluation of IT-related business in multiple and diverse environments. Assesses the value and cost structures of multiple IT services or products.
Business Assessment: Defines success factors for potential applications or systems. Evaluates the processes and tools for risk assessment and benefits analysis. Plays an active or leadership role in business assessment processes and assists in the preparation of deliverables. Utilizes tools, techniques and practices for identifying and validating business opportunities. Establishes business assessment procedures for multiple or critical applications. Conducts, documents and communicates basic business assessment reviews and walkthroughs.
Requirements Analysis: Trains others on requirements workthroughs and quality reviews. Ensures the successful completion of all major activities, tasks and deliverables pertaining to the requirement analysis stage. Plays an active or leading role in recording and storing requirement documents in various forms. Supervises the advanced use of requirements analysis tools and services, including prototyping and use cases. Produces detailed functional and information requirements models and documentation. Utilizes automated diagramming tools to ensure traceability of requirements.
Business Process Modeling: Presents differing views on the same business process for different audiences. Determines the workflow and actors involved in a new product or service design through BPM. Discusses results of successful BPM interventions among diverse scenarios. Finds gaps and redundancies in business processes via BPM techniques. Evaluates and simplifies existing business processes by using BPM. Selects technology or modifies decisions based on BPM study results.
Training Delivery: Participates in delivering a small portion of the lesson, from a pre-existing lesson plan. Interprets basic do's and don'ts for classroom training (platform competencies). Creates classroom learning objectives while managing participant questions and concerns. Addresses unique techniques for preparing course material and delivering classroom instruction. Assists in the delivery and evaluation of training program components.
Software Process Improvement (SPI): Evaluates the key benefits of the SPI program from an IT and business perspective. Plans and recommends deployment processes while evaluating their effectiveness. Supervises and guides SPI activities throughout all phases of IT projects. Consults on the use of SPI-related tools, techniques, standards and methodologies. Conducts and directs software quality assurance reviews and monitoring activities. Trains others on Capability Maturity Model, level 2 and 3 key process areas.
Technical Writing/Documentation: Conducts training on alternative documentation delivery mechanisms, tools and techniques. Establishes and references best practices for existing and planned tools and delivery vehicles for proper documentation. Manages cost items in producing and maintaining documentation. Designs and implements formal methodologies for producing documentation. Supervises the analysis, design and data collation on large documentation initiatives. Collaborates with support function managers, the product management team, and design engineers with writing projects.
IT Project Management: Builds IT related templates for demand analysis and functional reports. Estimates and appropriately addresses potential issues and risks in IT projects. Monitors every step in an IT project to ensure all aspects of the project are delivered on-time. Ensures that technical objectives and functional requirements align in all IT projects. Controls quality standards and budgeting in an ongoing IT project. Directs team members in analyzing client requirements in an appropriate manner.
Information Security Management: Optimizes operational standards for securing information assets. Consults on information security architecture concepts, disciplines and practices. Consults on the capabilities, features and use of information security technologies, to assess, monitor and resolve security risks and problems. Supervises the development, maintenance and utilization of information security practices. Elaborates on components that compromise network defense architecture; evaluates the effectiveness of information security systems. Defines, implements and monitors a BYOD security policy.

Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of progressive experience as an Analyst with business analytical and technical competencies
- 5 + years of experience in financial services industry

Potential Salary: $110,500.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
