This position supports Treasury, Balance Sheet Risk Management, Portfolio Accounting, and other business units in a data management and governance capacity. This position requires an understanding of database management, finance, and accounting. Responsibilities include ensuring the correctness of data loaded into the QRM Balance Sheet Management framework, programming development, security, and maintenance of databases used by the Treasury Data Governance group’s stakeholders, including, but not limited to divisions in Treasury, Capital Markets, and Portfolio Accounting. This position will work closely with Technology and business unit managers to deliver reports and projects on time.

- Experience with data management, financial analysis, risk management, or corporate banking.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL or other data-oriented languages.
- In depth understanding of a balance sheet and chart of accounts.
- Intermediate to advanced user of the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Access, and Visio.
- Must have strong understanding of database management.
- Must be able to accurately document processes and procedures.
- Must have strong analytical skills in order to solve complex, technical and business situations.
Essential Functions:
- The Data Governance Analyst III will be proficient at performing multiple major functions, listed below:
Data Quality and Governance
- Extensive data ETL (extract, transform, and load) responsibilities into internally maintained or application specific databases.
- Balancing, reconciliation, and stratification of the QRM Balance Sheet Management (BSM) Framework production databases. The analyst will identify and correct data source errors prior to releasing the database to end users and provide an explanation of variances.
- Collaborate with Technology and other data management stakeholders on the development and enhancement of data fields used for risk management analysis and reporting.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on operations, data management, analyses, and methodologies used.
- Develop and maintain data quality reports for reconciliation, monitoring, and trend analysis.
Model Governance
- Deploy production environment assumption changes upon approval and as directed by the Risk Management Governance Working Group.

- University (Degree) Preferred

This position will offer a hybrid work approach and can be located in Jacksonville, FL; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; or New York, NY.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in a data management, data governance, or risk management function.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in a data management, data governance, or risk management function.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Technology, or Risk Management discipline.
- Experience with QRM , asset/liability risk management software, or business intelligence tools.
- Experience with programming language, preferably with SQL.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
Potential Salary: $76,300.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
