This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.
This role is located onsite at our TIAA office in Virtual, NY, USA but will currently be remote.
The anticipated term of this engagement will be 10 months. Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Reviews trades, accounts, and relevant reports in order to ensure accuracy.
- Analyzes and contributes to the evaluation of relevant business data to identify solutions to moderate business problems, working to improve the effectiveness of operational processes for the investment function.
- Partners with team members and management to ensure operational processes are integrated and effectively supporting investment operations.
- Monitors investment performance reports and presentations for adherence to Global Investment Performance Standards.
- Maintains compliance documentation to help ensure compliance with investment restrictions, laws, Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), and tax codes.

The Pricing Senior Analyst role:
Includes reviewing price files, , monitoring successful processing of jobs within the Nuveen Middle Office pricing application , validating daily prices to ensure accuracy (best price )is applied , updating manual prices and independently research and resolve pricing issues.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience with Asset Management financial services experience in fund accounting, pricing, reconciliation, settlements, income processing, or corporate actions.
- 2+ years of experience working with various instrument types (fixed income, equities, options, futures, and derivatives), and pricing methodologies.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) intermediate level skill set
- Experience with Financial Securities Data Warehouse System.
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit, JPM Pricing Direct and/or ICE(IDC) portal.
- Experience validation and verification of daily pricing and exchange rates (missing fx , prices, zero prices, day-over-day changes) utilizing secondary vendors , various market data sources and fund accounting
- Monitor world markets throughout the day, research, and effectively communicate significant market and security events (trade halts, early exchange closings) to advisory teams and senior management.
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing.
- Experience preparing monthly metric and pricing reports for senior management
- Experience with preparing development of workflow process suggestions and documentation (SOP).
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
