We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team. You will partner with our Sales and Sales Engineering teams across EMEA to strategically drive Business Development activities within the country.

Duties

  • Conduct in-depth market research, identify priority accounts, competitors, and stakeholders for targeted outreach.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage multiple prospects and effectively maintain the sales pipeline, ensuring seamless handover to the sales team.
  • Identify and align Thought Machine's product offerings with the aims and objectives of financial organisations.
  • Independently conduct functional and technical sales conversations with senior decision makers.
  • Partner with Marketing, Market Intelligence, and Sales teams to execute effective communication strategies.
  • Proactively capture and prioritise leads from diverse sources
  • Develop growth strategies and plans.

Requirements

Essential

  • Fluent in German, Danish, Norwegian or Swedish
  • Experience in a Sales-driven role, preferably in finance or tech
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, and other online sales tools/platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle in Enterprise Sales to Financial Institutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively communicating technical product details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Undergraduate degree from a top university.

Desirable

  • Experience in retail banking or core banking platforms.
