In this opportunity as a Senior QA Engineer, you will:

  • Automation Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement comprehensive automation strategies aligned with organizational goals

Design scalable and maintainable automation frameworks

Identify areas for automation across different testing types (functional, regression, etc.)

  • Test Automation Development:

Create and maintain robust, reusable automated test scripts

Ensure high code quality and adherence to coding standards in automation scripts

  • CI/CD Integration:

Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and deployment pipelines

Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize test execution in CI/CD environments

  • Tool Selection and Implementation:

Evaluate, recommend, and implement appropriate automation tools and technologies

Stay updated on emerging automation trends and tools

  • Reporting and Analytics:

Generate comprehensive reports on automation test results

Analyze automation metrics and provide insights to stakeholders

  • Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing:

Mentor junior QA engineers in automation best practices

Conduct training sessions on automation tools and techniques

  • Collaboration:

Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability

  • Continuous Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements in the automation workflow

Optimize existing automated tests for better efficiency and reliability

  • Troubleshooting:

Debug and resolve complex issues in automated tests

Provide technical support for automation-related problems

About You

You're a fit for the role of Senior QA Engineer if your background includes:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing automated testing frameworks
  • Experience with various types of automation (UI, API, Performance)
  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably C#
  • Experience in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
  • In-depth experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Ability to lead automation initiatives and projects
  • Experience in creating automation reports and dashboards
  • Skill in analyzing automation metrics and providing insights
  • Demonstrated history of staying updated with the latest automation trends and technologies
